The Wienermobile

T-Rex and I ran to the grocery store this morning and LO AND BEHOLD...... the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was in the parking lot. Now, usually I am not a fan of advertising geared toward kids, but it's a CAR and a HOTDOG.  T-Rex immediately sees it and says, "I am not standing in front of it for a picture."  Um..... why not?

So I ran back to the house, ate a quick lunch, and dragged all of them back (3 out of 4 were game).  We were too short to see inside (they should provide a viewing platform), but it was pretty cool.

Then, lucky me, they gave my kids a wienie whistle........
which reaches seriously high pitches (tried to get T-Rex to videotape it in the car, but apparently it didn't work). Spontaneous parenting is a lot of fun.

Thanks so very, very much for the positive feed back on my blog post about the recently finished giant canopy!  It was a labor of love and an honor to pay respects to all the anonymous stitchers who lovingly made the raw materials!  I'd love to hear your take on "What a canopy bed means to you". I will very likely show the work in Columbia this coming February as I've already booked Gallery 80808/Vista Studios for another idea. My original plan for to make a canopy to hang in the atrium just outside my studio door ... and now I will hang this one there!  Thanks again!
